When we talk about flying banners, we’re generally referring to those that are designed for use outdoors. This can be a great way to grab attention at outdoor events or if your premises are located on a major thoroughfare – the quality, size and brightness of these banners means that can’t be missed! When making your selection, keep in mind that there is more than one type available:
- Feather Flags
Designed for use indoors or outdoors, these flags will flap around and rotate in the wind – which makes them great for drawing the eye of passers by. They are available in three massive sizes – 2 metres, 3 metres and 4 metres tall – and in three durable base options – spike, heavy flat or cross feet – to meet your application.
- Teardrop Banners
Similar to the feather flag except with more of a rounded teardrop design, these flags feature double-sided graphics to ensure that they’re readable from either side. They are available in three sizes – 2 metres, 3 metres and 4 metres tall – and in two base options – spike or cross feet (with a water bag that is used to weigh it down).
- Tornado Banners
Configured as either a single or double-sided display, these flying banners are a great choice for indoor and outdoor applications alike. The smart base unit is available in a choice of silver or black and it can be filled with sand or water when used outside to provide stability. They are available in two sizes – 500mm x 1600mm and 700mm x 2100mm.
- Windancer Flags
Standing at an impressive 5 metres tall, these flags can be used indoors but are most popular in outdoor applications. When used outdoors, the base can be filled with water to provide it with stability in high winds. The graphic is single-sided but has numerous anchor points so that it won’t flap around too much and will always be legible.
- Rectangular Flags
Similar to feather and teardrop flags except with a distinctive rectangle appearance, these banners can be used indoors or outdoors with ease. They are available in three massive sizes – 2 metres, 3 metres and 4 metres tall – and in three durable base options – spike, heavy flat or cross feet (with a water bag that is used to weigh it down).
If you are interested in using flying banners in the promotion of your business, we hope that the above list has given you a better idea of the different types available and has enabled you to choose one accordingly. Although any of these banners will do a great job drawing attention, if you’re having trouble making your selection do not hesitate to ask for help.
